Soranus the Physician from Ephesus was born in the Roman capital of Asia Minor which was Ephesus city. He was believed to be born in the end of the first century or in the beginning of the second century. He had his expertise in gynecology. Soranus of Ephesus moved to Rome and eventually the city of Rome after becoming the most famous gynecologist of his time.
He created several works and most of them survived to our day. Some of his books are;

- On Acute and Chronic Diseases
