The Letter to Ephesians is one of several letters that Paul wrote from prison. Tychicus is tasked with delivering the letter, conveying other news about Paul, and encouraging those who receive the letter on various issues. Tychicus may have also visited Colossae during this journey. Before Paul wrote this letter, he had visited Ephesus twice. Apostle Paul had stayed there for over two years on his second visit.
