Menecrates of Ephesus was a famous poet from Ephesus. He studied the well known poem of Hesiod called ”Works and days” and improved it. He added a part about how to take care of bees into Hesiod’s book and renamed it ”Works”. Poem Called Works by Menecrates of Ephesus was written sometime between 3rd and 4th century BC.
