Climbing Mount Ararat
Ararat is the highest mountain in Turkey. Mountain is mentioned in the holy texts such as Holy Bible as the place where the Noah’s Ark anchored. The climb is hard and long. You will need a professional guide to lead you to the peak. Your reward of a fantastic view is waiting for you on the top where you can see Armenia, Iran and Turkey in the same time.
Walking Lycian Way
The Lycian way is little more than 500 kilometers track on the south Turkey. There are lots of little villages and pristine beaches on the way. The best time to walk this trail is the spring time or the autumn time.
Rafting in Antalya
Antalya hosts Köprülü Canyon National Park with a rough river flowing through it. Köprülü Canyon gives unique rafting experiences to any one visiting regardless of their level.
Paragliding in Ölüdeniz
Babadağ Mountain soars above Ölüdeniz, Fethiye. Adventurers go the peak to have once in a lifetime experience of paragliding above Ölüdeniz lagoon. I believe, It is a must-do activity in Turkey.
Kitesurfing in Alaçatı
Çesme offers great beaches and top level culinary experience for the tourist. Also, Alaçatı beach of Çeşme is famous with windy climate which gives great windsurfing opportunities.
Horse Ride in Cappadocia
Cappadocia is famous for hot air balloon rides but there is another activity people forget to do in the region. Cappadocia means the land of beautiful horses. Cappadocia still hosts hundreds of wild and tamed horses. I recommend at least one-hour ride in Cappadocia for any adventurers visiting.
