Ephesus welcomes a great number of visitors every day of the year between 8 am and 6:30 pm. But some days real fun starts after the big groups leave and the ancient site of Ephesus starts getting ready for evening \ night shows. There are several events organized in various different parts of Ephesus. Odeon is mostly used for little concerts and storytelling, the library of Celsus is used for operettas and the grand theater is used for the great events such as concerts of Ray Charles and Elton John.

Some cruise companies and some travel agents organize private dinners and small concerts too. Also, there are two festivals organized by the municipality of Selcuk and another one organized by the Izmir governor taking place in Ephesus and various different locations around the ancient city.
